The Wellington Arts Association (WAA) is delighted to announce that it will be taking over the Wellington Town Council Pop-Up Shopfrom Monday 16th March to Saturday 21st March 2026, opening daily from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Located in the heart of Wellington, the Pop-Up Shop will give members of the public a unique opportunity to connect with the town’s vibrant performing arts community. Throughout the week, visitors will be able to:
🎟️ Purchase tickets in person for upcoming WAA productions
🎭 Learn more about the Wellington Arts Association, its history, and its various performance groups
✨ Discover opportunities to get involved both on stage and backstage, with information on volunteering, technical theatre roles, costume support, performing, and more
The WAA’s presence in the Pop-Up Shop forms part of its ongoing commitment to celebrating and expanding the performing arts within Wellington and the surrounding area. By positioning the Association in such a central and accessible location, WAA hopes to welcome new supporters, recruit new members, and continue strengthening the cultural life of the town.
A spokesperson for the Wellington Arts Association said:
“We are thrilled to be working with Wellington Town Council to bring the WAA into the centre of town for the week. It’s a fantastic chance for the community to drop in, meet us, buy tickets, ask questions, and find out how they can be part of something creative, social, and exciting.”
